Position Summary

The Opportunity

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible assessing and monitoring individual needs by delivering quality client care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Identify the health needs of residents and determine the appropriate nursing care to address priority needs/problems.

Administer and document resident medications and prescribed treatment accurately and as per the legislative guidelines and UnitingSA policy and procedures.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient information systems ensuring the data is accurate and complete utilising Leecare.

Assist staff by observing and promptly reporting any changes in residents’ behaviours or health and well-being.

 

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications in Enrolled Nursing or Medication Endorsed Enrolment registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have a minimum experience of 12 months experience in an Aged Care setting.

 

We are seeking a dynamic individual who has good communication and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and ACFI.
