The Opportunity
The NDIS Accountant is a varied role responsible for managing the NDIS finance function, including processing of claims and invoicing for NDIS clients, managing NDIS debtors, identifying possible areas of improvement in the processes as well as reporting income and analysis as required. We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with existing processes with a view to introducing efficiencies and improving reporting.

The successful candidate will have relevant accounting qualifications and or experience as well as a good knowledge of NDIS claiming processes. Knowledge of Penelope and or Technology One will be viewed favourably.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that details in systems, and NDIS data is accurate and up to date
  • Monitor Service Agreements to ensure billing agreements are being adhered to
  • Process NDIS billing, ensuring charges are in line with service agreements
  • Provide support with budget activities, including preparation and account reconciliation
  • Analysing and reporting of NDIS trends and anomalies
  • Identifying process improvements and efficiencies
