Our community housing program aims to enhance the skills of families to successfully maintain a tenancy.

 

An essential aspect of this role is communicating with families and a diverse range of stakeholders to encourage a successful tenancy. This role includes coordinating maintenance with local tradespeople, and liaising with families and support workers. Routine inspections is another aspect of the role to assist tenants comply with their obligations.  Property management skills are desirable but not essential.

 

You will:

  • Have strong relationship building and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Be organised, plan to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain accurate records and experience in using data bases

It is desirable for you to have: 

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (essential)
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to residential tenancies
  • Relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity

You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between UCWCSA sites or interstate as required.
