ABOUT THE ROLE

The Strategy and Service Improvement Department is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic Project Support Officer in this newly created role. This position will require the individual to work cross-functionally to provide day-to-day support to add value and help improve the work of the strategy, marketing and quality teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing day-to-day support tasks as requested
  • Management of team project timelines and monitoring of deadlines
  • Management of internet and intranet portals
  • Co-ordination of meeting dates, agenda, minutes and follow up on any outstanding items
  • Review format, edit and publish documents as required
  • Development of commercial reporting of trends in customer market segments
  • Conduct details analysis of data and trends across portfolios and gathered from multiple systems
  • Development of source funding for projects
  • Review of current innovation/continuous improvement

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Current SA Driver’s Licence & Police Clearance
  • Previous experience in a PR, Marketing, Corporate Planning or Quality role
  • Experience in working within a community service environment & multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven understanding & experience of event and project management
  • Excellent data analytics, trend analysis and reporting writing skills
  • Sound research skills that enables translation to user-friendly outputs
