UCWPA is looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to support the organisation. Located at 70 Dale Street, Port Adelaide, we require a competent professional with event and project management experience that enjoys working in a busy environment.  The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the Marketing Strategy for the organisation.  This includes management of stakeholder engagement, events and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct support across the organisation on the implementation of specific projects
  • Research organisational marketing priorities and benchmarking
  • Working closely with external organisations to coordinate events
  • Development of communications and briefing notes for internal staff
  • Development of systems to ensure consistency in events across the organisation and conduct through evaluation of events to ensure the overall objectives have been achieved.
  • Drive and support the stakeholder engagement strategy for the organisation
  • Development of fundraising strategy to ensure a consistent approach to fundraising events or activities
  • Research and development of papers regarding market trends in fundraising

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in similar field
  • Experience implementation of marketing plans
  • Proven understanding & experience of event and project management
  • Strong formatting and writing skills
  • Competent skills within Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preference for skills with InDesign and Photoshop
  • Sound knowledge of marketing techniques and approaches
  • Current Police Check or relevant DCSI Clearance

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
