ABOUT THE ROLE

UnitingCare Wesley is looking to appoint a ‘Maintenance Officer’ to support the Property Services Department on a full time basis. We require a competent professional  who enjoys working within a busy environment with significant experience in general maintenance or building. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure UCWPA property is maintained to a high standard, with safety as a prime consideration while meeting with the building codes of Australia safety standards and working within budgetary constraints
  • Maintain scheduling of assigned duties and obtain materials to perform cost effective maintenance
  • Provide prompt response to requests for maintenance services
  • Maintain and monitor preventative maintenance program 
  • Undertake all modifications within any current regulations and standards
  • Maintain all equipment in good working order at all times 

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Relevant Trade/Building qualifications
  • Current SA Driver’s Licence &  current DCSI Child Related Clearance 
  • Extensive building and/or maintenance and project management experience
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Competent computer skills and attention to detail
