ABOUT THE ROLE

The Employment Services team is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Case Manager to support the Building Family Opportunities (BFOFiT) Program within UCWPA. Located at Elizabeth and servicing the North and West regions, BFOFiT is an exciting program working with individuals and their families who are preparing to enter employment education and training. 
We require a competent professional who enjoys working in a busy environment. 

Has experience working with families who are long term unemployed and experiencing complex issues. Knowledge or experience in Employment Services would also be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include: Managing a caseload of individuals and families who are developing skills to reduce barriers to employment and training, developing networks to support preparation for employment and other activities, monitoring participation in activities, maintaining administration reporting tasks and representing UCWPA BFOFiT at local forums and events. 
To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience working in  Community Services /Human Services e.g. family or youth services, employment services
  • Tertiary qualifications  or experience relevant to the position e.g. Social Work,  Employment services qualifications
  • A Drivers Licence
  • DCSI Clearance 

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
