ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Security Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, planning, implementing and monitoring ICT related security risks and solutions to enable compliance with industry benchmarks and standards with the express purpose of providing an exceptional and secure ICT environment.  Located at Port Adelaide, we require a competent professional with qualifications and experience in areas of security, audit, assurance, governance, risk or compliance. Experience with ISM, ISO 27001 or IRAP will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include: Investigate, create and implement a relevant security framework

  • Provide advice and perform technical security configuration of infrastructure and user access
  • Provide timely and quality support, investigation and resolution to incidents
  • Establish procedures and routines to ensure security requirements are maintained

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications in IT Security
  • Experience in IT security, audit, risk, compliance
  • Experience in the design and operation of enterprise-level secured networks & systems
  • Experience in the implementation of an information security management stystem

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
