ABOUT THE ROLE

WSE Kingston (operating as Grandma’s Pantry, Kingston Lawn Rangers and Day Options) is a service of UCWPA which assists people with disabilities and their families and we are seeking a highly motivated person to join our team in delivering a quality service to clients. You will be involved in all aspects of WSE Kingston operations and primarily work with our Day Options clients.

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with clients with disability to identify their goals and aspirations and person-centered plans are developed
  • Assisting with practical implementation of plans and service offerings/support to meet a person’s goal
  • Assisting customers to address their needs and expectations
  • Planning and scheduling client supports using case management systems

 To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Community Services Certificate (disability work) or equivalent
  • Seniors First Aid Certificate
  • Current SA driver’s license
  • DCSI Certificate
  • The ability to motivate highly disengaged clients in designing and achieving personal goals

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
